The Sordid Truth
I should be knitting my second pink cable-rib sock. The progress?
Not much.
“She’s done only TWO rounds of gusset decreases! What’s a first sock gotta do to get a second?!” The First Pink Cable-Rib Sock.
But the first Oak Ribbed Sock (with heel mods) in lovely blue stripes is coming along famously.
No excuse.
And what’s happened here?!
The Shame!
The start of a leg in Pennant Stitch from More Sensational Knitted Socks in Sundara’s Lenten Rose yarn.
Oh, no.
The Temptation.
Habu Tsumugi 100% silk yarn (color 33). 450 yd.
Must. Knit. Pink. Sock.
Or you could give up on the pink sock for a little while and join my revolution! 🙂
Brenda- Looks like it’s a case of too much temptation. Why torture yourself.
Be a bad-ass knitter!
Oh good, someone with more socks on the needles than me!
Oh, heck, start another sock plus something with the silk. 😉
All the socks are pretty though. And that silk…gorgeous color!
Hmm. I wonder – must knit which pink sock? The one at the top of the post, or the one begging to be knit from the silk? 😉
Oh, go for it! Silk socks…yummy!
Oh, I can only imagine how wonderful silk socks would feel on my feet! It makes me want to never wear cotton socks again! (Of course, it also makes me want even more to learn how to knit a darn sock in the first place.)
Dive right into the Habu silk! It’s really lovely, and I’ll look forward to seeing what you decide to make with it. (Sorry for the silence, but Bloglines just updated all of the WordPress posts yesterday! I’ve become too reliant on technology!)
If it’s any consolation the pink socks look great! Some projects just aren’t that fun, though, so I understand. And all those new socks/yarn do look very tempting.
I would find it very difficult to resist the temptation of the Habu silk. I looks absolutely srumptious, and I don’t even like pink!
You’re pretty funny with all your socks…but yeah that habu silk! uh-oh, time for another sock!
