Just to clarify, if you're talking Davis, that nice lady did not get pregnant with triplets!!! However, she got pregnant with child #3, and the economy was starting to go sour, etc.

I remember that the Sacramento area are so wonderful and full of great stores. Then they all started to disappear. Knitter's Playground, Frog Pond Knits, and I hear Filati in Rocklin is gone now, too.

Oh, of course there will be maximum sheddage!!! Aw, sweet little Kitty No. 34, you look like my Atticus.

What beautiful colours. The first balls reminded me of apples this time of year, when they first come off the trees. A lovely mix of green and ok, well not red, but close enough!

LOVE the yarns, and glad you found a semi-LYS.
;)
Kitty 34 looks like a wonderful cat. And you look like you'd be a happy cat owner.
(((hugs)))

I think I knew the different lady (not the one with triplets) and she was a vet in a previous life, got disenchanted with the industry, opened a yarn shop and had a little boy, then he grew up and she didn't need a job where she could watch him at the same time, and went back to being a vet. But I'm just guessing here. Maybe she did move to NYC and open a yarn shop....

I know a lot of people around here love the Mini Mochi yarn, but I haven't tried it yet. That sounds like a pretty nice yarn store, though.

Kitty No. 34 has it figured out. ;-)

I get your picture on yarn stores. We had two very similar to your description, but thankfully the delightful one is still open in my town :)

I've seen the Mini Mochi yarn before, and I'm interested to hear what you think of it!
