(I even have the same color you do, but mine, of course, are plain vanilla)

Sorry to hear they were a pain to knit. The rib and cable is looking really good, and still loving that color combo. As for Ripple socks, I vote for Winesap because I would love to see how the striking colors knit up. However, the other color choices look great too. :)
